What is Voltonomics?

Voltonomics / plural noun / The study and analysis of the global transition to electric vehicles.

We are now facing a climate emergency so serious, that every part of our economy needs to rapidly decarbonise. One key aspect of this is transport, which currently accounts for 24% of global CO2 emissions. Getting more people walking, cycling and using public transport will take out a chunk of these emissions. However, for various reasons, there will always be some journeys that will need electric vehicles.

A lot has changed in the last 10 years for electric vehicles and progress is starting to be made in transitioning some of our transport systems to electric. But there are still many more barriers and complexities to overcome. Voltonomics aims to explore, measure and analyse these developments and problems and frame them in the wider decarbonisation of our economies.

So why not join us as we explore the rapidly accelerating world of electric vehicles!
